A saturday night out turned ugly for Jessica Simpson and her best friend, hairstylist, Ken Paves, when he was injured by photographers outside L.A hotspot Madeo. As the friends exited the restaurant, photographers swarmed the singer. Paves stepped in to protect Simpson, when a pap struck him in the face with his camera. Observers say it was an accident. With blood running down his face, the two got into their vehicle and Paves was taken to a medical centre. No police charges have been filed.

Amy Winehouse is back home after several days of hospital tests and doctor-ordered bed rest. The 25-year-old singer, whose well-documented substance abuse has triggered a string of medical problems, spent the past week being treated in the London clinic.

The notoriously skinny singer was photographed looking fuller in the face last week which has been praised by most tabloids. Now that she is out of hospital, she doesn't have any work scheduled. She has been told to give up smoking and has covered herself in nicotine patches.

Lindsay Lohan has been left feeling pretty glum as organizers of the World Music Awards have decided she's not up to the job of presenting it! Well are you suprised? Seeing as she's a regular re-haber alcoholic. Lindsay is said to be "furious" that she wasn't the star. Bad luck Lindz.

Can someone tell us why slutty playboy bunny Holly Madison and wacky illusionist Criss Angel are dating?! Are we the only ones who think this is completely stupid and just a dire stunt for publicity? There on the same lower celebrity rung so one can't outshine the other and they don't have a brain cell between them!
Why are they even famous? Holly for getting naked and sleeping with sugar daddies and Criss for faking a load of "miracles". Apparantly Criss wants to provide Holly with a baby, I give my deepest sympathy for that child.

As we'd expected, Halloween was a jam-packed celebrity affair in London on Friday, and predictably, just about every star in London gravitated toward celeb hangout Bungalow 8 - as per usual.
Anyway, we disgress from the original question which is: at the end of the night, guess which hunky celebrity was spotted going home with T4 presenter Alexa Chung? We'll give you a clue - it wasn't her boyfriend.

Josh and Alexa turned up and left together, after bumping into each other at Brown's Halloween Bash earlier in the evening, where they'd partied alongside Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe, Kimberley Stewart and Jaime Winstone. We're sure it's just all perfectly innocent (honestly, we do, for once were genuinely not being sarcastic)...

Britney Spears is inching closer to the release of her big comeback album and the drum beat of hype is reaching a notable roar. The album cover was released this weekend, and the circus, the album itself, is due to hit the shops on Dec 2nd, her birthday.
If you think the pop tart is washed up, think again. The first single from the album "womanizer", broke records when it jumped to the top of the charts after it's release last month.
Britney, who went with a brunette hair look (when she wasn't shaving her head), is up to her blonde ways again on the new cover. Suprisingly, she's going with a pretty soft, sexy look. She has long flowing blonde locks an an equally flowing dress that is sensual but not slutty.

There's none of the hardcore leather and latex that characterized some of her pre-rehab performances. But don't judge an album by it's cover. In her "Womanizer" video Britney was up to her old stuff, including some pretty provocative semi-nude poses in what looks like a sauna.

From the looks of it, Britney will be up to more of her old tricks. "Lace And Leather" and "Kill The Lights" definiatly are suggestive. Wonder, too, how "Lace And Leather" might compare with Fleetwood Mac's classic "Leather And Lace?" And how about "Mmm Papi?" What's that all about?

The next single to drop "Circus", should hit the internet in the next week or so. According to Spear's official website, the song is an up-tempo track produced by Dr.Luke and Benny Blanco. She has obviously spared no expense on songwriting and producing talent!

Britney's new album cover - looking suprisingly demure!

Simon Cowell has confirmed that the troubled singer will appear on the X Factor. Rumours have been circulating for a while now, but over the weekend Simon put an end to the speculation by admitting that the singer will appear on the show on November 15th! We here at ilovecelebritygossip cannot wait!

When asked if she would appear in the sequel of her classic hit film Pretty Woman, Julia laughed insisting she is too old to play a prostitute! Her fiery role as a 'hooker with a heart of gold' alongside Richard Gere shot her in amongst the Hollywood A-list. But she has no plans to return to the streets of L.A, saying "no one wants to see an old hooker! Do they?". Hmm, cellulite and fishnets, were okay thanks!

Dreamgirl's actress Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were shot dead on Friday 25th in their Chicago home. Upon hearing the news of mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and 29-year-old brother Jason Hudsons death, Jennifer who was reported to of started 'screaming' flew immediately to Tampa, Florida. Police are also looking for Jennifer's missing seven-year-old nephew Julian King, who was staying at his grandmothers house. Top suspect is Jennifers brother-in-law William Balfour who is currently in custody and being questioned about these brutal murders and the strange disappearance of Julian King.
